Personally identifiable information may include name, address, email, phone, and purchase history. However, it DOES NOT include credit card data or other personal financial information; this information will not be transferred to us at all. I wouldn't trust buying anything from them. Will you? Just visit the webpage, choose what you're looking for and a location. Printable coupons are displayed on a Google Map.My main concern with any of these coupon printing websites, aside from the actual vendor, is the trust that the coupon is actually valid. Already RetailMeNot is becoming infested with 3rd party coupon websites. This will probably continue until it becomes useless. Try it for yourself and let me know if you actually found and used a coupon from the website. What does this mean? Is Circuit City not dead? The product itself is exactly the same—we’ve just streamlined the packaging. Finally! You would have thought an online retailer would have done this much, much sooner since the hard-to-open packaging was in place to prevent shoplifting. Link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html/... Still, there are some basic things you can look for beyond the specs, which are at times intentionally misleading. Once you've swept the reviews from the likes of HD Guru, CNet and Home Entertainment, giving you an approximate idea of the best performers in your price range, find out where they are and visit them in person. Obviously, the sets on the shelf aren't always properly tuned, but if the store is committed to making a sale—and they are more now than ever before—they should produce a remote and let you mess around to properly vet it for your living situation. Wednesday, October 15, 2008Book: Predictably Irrational:![]() Irrational behavior is a part of human nature, but as MIT professor Ariely has discovered in 20 years of researching behavioral economics, people tend to behave irrationally in a predictable fashion. Drawing on psychology and economics, behavioral economics can show us why cautious people make poor decisions about sex when aroused, why patients get greater relief from a more expensive drug over its cheaper counterpart and why honest people may steal office supplies or communal food, but not money. A very interesting book to learn about how and why we behave in certain situations. If you like reading to learn then this is a book for your library. Why? Where is Best Buy going with this? Are the brick and mortar companies as we know it on the way out the door? Link: http://www.betanews.com/... A complete site geared towards revealing the scams of infomercials. Still find it hard to believe that people buy the junk that these infomercials are pushing. Sure I enjoy watching them, but I have never bought anything.

Below is a compiled a list of the top 5 websites to help you save money on your next purchase. When making a purchase online it really never makes sense to leave the coupon or promotion code box empty. These websites help you locate a valid coupon code to save you money whether its online or offline.
GottaDeal.com:Not only do they provide coupons codes but they also actively search for deals for products in both online and offline stores. This is a great place to check if you just want a deal and have some money to burn. Hot Coupon Word: What makes this place bookmarkable is that they provide actual, old school, printable coupons for many brick and mortar stores. You can wade through scans of retailer flyers to locate coupons and deals. This is one of the few places that provide you scans of the actual flyers. Brads Deals: Another great site for coupons (in-store) and coupon codes (online retailers). When visiting this site make sure to check out the Top Coupon bar on the right. DealTaker.com: One of my favorite places to get coupon codes. I often check here first and have saved lots of money on GoDaddy products through the years because of DealTaker.com. Be sure to check out their Filler Items tool which locates products for various retailers for a certain price to allow you to take advantage of free shipping (usually). Retail Me Not: From the people who brought you BugMetNot comes RetailMeNot. What I like about this website is the design of the website is professional and easy on the eyes. Its simple to use and each coupon can have a user rating and some feedback - this lets you know ahead of time how likely it will be that the coupon code will work.Labels: shopping Friday, January 11, 2008Get free shipping in Amazon with an Amazon Filler Item
An Amazon Filler Item is a an item that is used to get to the $25 free shipping level in Amazon. The Amazon Filler website lets you choose the amount you need to fill and it will display a list of products that meets that value amount. What this does is make it easy to find those low value items that can get you to free shipping.

A neat little trick to locate huge savings at Amazon.com is by entering a special URL that displays products from a certain category and limits the results to products that are discounted by a certain amount.
Example URL: http://www.amazon.com/gp/search/?node=468642&pct-off=90- URL Breakdown: Url to get to Amazon Search: http://www.amazon.com/gp/search/? Display products from the Computer and Video game category (node): node=468642 Show products that are at least 90% off: &pct-off=90- That's all there is to it. The link below provides a URL generator to make the whole process simple. Just call the number, enter the Universal Product Code (UPC) and the best prices from major online merchants are given to you.How this helps is two fold: 1) You can decide not to purchase and buy it online or 2) Use the price as a bargining tool. A lot of stores have a price-match policy and will match prices to an online merchant. Just last week I went to purchase contacts and the base price for Lens Crafters was $30 a box. I went online and found them at lens.com for $20 a box. Brought in a copy of the online page and Lens Crafters matched the price and also included a $30 rebate. Price matching and using online merchants is a great way to save a lot of money and all you have to do is ask if they support it.
