Windows 7 M3 Build 6780 Pictures
The writings on the wall. Get used to the Vista like experience or move to Linux. If you are sticking with XP attempting to wait out Microsoft hoping they would take a step back with the UI of Windows there doesn't seem to be a point. Windows 7 is shaping up to be Vista II and not a cross between what users love about XP with the enhancements of Vista.
I'm still going to wait for Windows 7 before leaving XP.

Early screen shots of the next Microsoft OS usually look like the OS before it. Sometimes because they are doctored, sometimes because the GUI may be the last thing the developers focus on.
Besides, it's not like you can't turn off the vista look, to an extent...
Even still, I was hoping for a true minimal Windows experience, something that didn't even include a GUI based shell if you didn't want one...
