Giving away 3 Camtasia Studio Licenses

First, what is Camtasia Studio:
Imagine being able to show exactly what's on your screen to anyone, anywhere. Imagine that it's easy. Now you've imagined Camtasia Studio. With the smartest screen recording tools on the planet, Camtasia Studio makes everything from training videos to PowerPoint presentations to lectures look better, reach more people, and pack more punch. Which makes you look even smarter, too.
I have used Camtasia Studio for years now and its an excellent tool that makes creating videos a simple process. From screen recording to post production to publishing the video, everything is logical and easy to do.

I have used Camtasia Studio in the past to record screencasts for training purposes and it was GREAT. I will be doing more in the near future and would love to get back on the Camtasia wagon. Thanks.

At the end of a long contract working with a large computer and software services vendor, I had the consultant's usual responsibility of training the in-house folks in using the technologies I had used before leaving for the next gig. Over those 30 days, I used Camtasia Studio 2 for the outside-of-the-classroom screen-oriented parts of the training, and it was invaluable. I was able to accomplish far more in the limited time available than I would have with a less-capable tool. Lately I've been using another TechSmith tool, jing, for "quick take" short how-tos, but it would be very nice to have available the full power of the latest version of Camtasia. I hope I win!

Wow! What a great giveaway! I have used the trial version of Camtasia Studios and I feel it is by far the most feature-filled screencasting software available. On top of that it appears to also be the easiest to use, both for getting started and for more advanced features. It is most likely well worth the price, but then again - that's a lot of price to consider!! I am a long-time user of TechSmith's SnagIt (though admittedly I am not completely pleased with their latest version of it). I also use Jing - their free screencasting tool - to create my screencasts currently. Virtually all of the screencasts I create are for family members and friends who are complete novices with computers. My wife, for example! I am naturally concerned that she surf safely on her new computer. Also that she knows how to properly maintain her computer. Yet watching over her shoulder to instruct her is, well, not really the wisest way to do this! (Really hope she never reads this!) I have found that by creating nice, clean, Beginner Tutorials for her so that she can watch them and learn without having to worry that I might think she is not catching on quickly enough. This makes learning much more helpful and less stressful for her. Jing is great for this. Camtasia Studio would be nicer!
Thanks!

I was using Camtasia for quite long in the days when version 2 had appeared. It had big potential (still has) but I've never had opportunity to use full featured edition. The simplest (cheapest) vesion has not always been enough so I stared using BB Flashback Express. After some time Camtasia started giving me strange errors and I had to leave it in peace.
Currently I see that since the last time I had it, Camtasia grew to be even better application.

SmartFocus is one of the best features ever incorporated into a screen recorder. It saves a huge amount of time when you're preparing instructional recordings. The addition of the Spotlight feature will make it even more powerful by allowing you to draw the viewer's focus to important points in your presentation. Just like putting blinders on a racehorse. It's a great idea.

I have trialled Camtasia Studio in the past and what's so excellent is that you can do your complete worksflow in the program, not just screenscapturing, but editing, audio part, encoding etc. Most other solutions would require multiple packages that possible don't work together that well.

I got a free copy of Camtasia studio at Giveaway of the day 6 months ago and used it quite a bit. It is a fine piece of software. Recently I had to reformat my HD and hence am no longer entitled to use it (that is how GAOTD works).
I'd very much would like to get one of those 3 free copies !

Got a free version 3 license a while ago. I've been interested in getting the upgrade to the latest version but the cost has put me off, since I rarely (never) get paid anything for the work I do just helping family and friends out to justify the relatively high license cost.

Being able to show my family of friends how to do something (like managing Joomla for my brother ;), I'm "computer scientist" ) is a great thing since I'm now for a year in Portuagal, Lizbon about 3000km from home I either have to know the system "by heart" or do some screenshots etc. From what I could see in the trial and on the tour page Camtasia is a grand software and would be great for my purposes but the price scares me, so I'm hoping a bit for a free licence or another GiveawayOfTheDay. ;)
Keep up the great work! :D
Best wishes,
Sebastian.

I've created several instructional videos with Camtasia and found it easy and FUN to work with--especially since this was my first time doing something like this. It's a very easy program to learn and use. Thanks!

To my mind the best 'feature' of Camtasia Studio is the attention to detail in its design. That allows CS to anticipate what might be required, and makes achieving this simple enough for an amateur to master quickly.

I would enjoy using it often to create instructions for my parents - when you are 2000 miles away and your 65 year old Mom is trying to get Ventrilo working for World of Warcraft ... my goodness can you imagine the frustration of trying to walk her through the setup?
Gah!
Seriously, this product is really easy to use and it makes explaining complex GUI usage a breeze. I really do have a 65 year old Mom that plays WoW :D
