Infomercial Scams
A complete site geared towards revealing the scams of infomercials. Still find it hard to believe that people buy the junk that these infomercials are pushing. Sure I enjoy watching them, but I have never bought anything.

The majority of infomercials are shown at night and watched by very tired people suffering from insomnia. Being as tired as they are, they are vulnerable to errors of judgement. That's why they fall for it. That is part of the whole marketing plan.
There used to be a mall near me that had a shop called "As Seen on TV" that carried nothing but products advertised in infomercials.
Rather than ever buying directly from one of the infomercials, if something caught my eye, I would go there and take a look at what I would be getting for my money. Most of the time I wouldn't buy anything.
On 2 occasions, that I can remember, I did buy something and I was totally happy with my purchase.
After being able to see what the active ingredients in Proactive were, I bought it for my daughter and it did help her skin a lot.
Phase 4 Orthotics let me walk without pain, although it was very painful during the breaking in period.
But the "make money" crap is just that...crap, and I would never consider spending a penny on it and would probably toss it all in the trash if someone gave it to me for free, or at least get a good blog post exposing them for the fraud they are, before tossing it.
All I can say is to find a shop that lets you see what you will get before you buy and don't fall for any of the money making scams.
There are an abundnace of websites that will give you the crap they have for free, and tell you "how to make money blogging about how to make money blogging about how to make money blogging". You don't have to spend a dime. :-P

Funny thing is I have also heard good things about Proactive from women. They must be doing something right.
