Apache, MySQL, PHP on Windows with WAMP

- 1. Download the latest release of Wampserver 2
- 2. Optionally add as much Apache, PHP and MySQL releases as you want
- 3. Work with a development environment that reproduces exactly your production server

How does this compare with XAMPP? I assume you lose the cross-platform capabilities.

Even though I blogged about Xampp, I totally forgot about it.
Since I had previously installed PHP / MySQL and run through IIS I have not fully tested yet.
More tests will be coming once I get a break to setup a Virtual PC with PHP/MySQL. I will probably test both side-by-side.
