Strange Virtual PC 2007 behavior?
I have noticed a strange behavior in Virtual PC 2007 running on Windows Vista Business. When I start it, it always appears in the system tray. Then, if I right click on the icon and select the "Show Virtual PC Console" command, the program is shown in the taskbar, but it is minimized and I'm unable to restore the normal window

This is something I see often. At work the external/second monitor I connect to my laptop is on the right side. At home it is on the left. And sometimes I don't have an external monitor connected.
When I can't find an app window I have a few tricks.
One is to make sure the application has focus (for example Alt+Tab to it or choose it on the Taskbar) and then use Alt + Space to activate the Window's menu, then 'M' to select move. Then use the arrow keys to move the window onto the visible area of the screen. Enter to make it drop there.
Another is to use something like GridMove from DonationCoder.com.
Yet another is to use Sizer. (With Sizer, right-click on the app in the taskbar and choose a profile that moves it to the center of the screen.
