ThinkAll has been shut down!

Finally, after all that work ThinkAll has been officially shutdown. I would like to think it had something to do with my very popular post about the scam they were running.

The Commission vote to file the complaint was 5-0. It was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Sherman Division on January 9, 2007. On January 10, 2007, the court issued a Temporary Restraining Order enjoining the illegal activities of defendants Think All Publishing, L.L.C. and Yuri Mintskovsky and freezing their assets.

  • Well done Chris.....

Congratulations on your efforts to terminate this scam.

I popped back today to provide proof that Think All were not responding to emails and was delighted to read they are out of business

Here's a copy of the failure notice

I'm not going to try again; this message has been in the queue too long."

  • What also good is we have the guys name behind the scam (Yuri Mintskovsky) and I have collected some information that could be used to identify other companies that they start. So, if they try this again I will be on it.

  • It was to late for me, but I'm glad they've been shut down. There charge was on $50 but the ruckus it caused in my account left me out about $300.

Thanks for the good work. I'll be more vigilant in the future.

  • I thought I would try accessing thinkall's site and found I could not access it as I wanted to cancel this "subscription". I came back from holiday and checked my bank statements and found they had taken over £50 (as I'm in the UK) for a pack of 4 CD's. I was gutted. I'm so glad I came across this site (via Google) and realise you have done alot of hard work to bring some kind of justice to my bank account and peace in my mind, after reading all the blogs from people supporting you. To everyone who has suffered at these peoples hands, my heart goes out to you.

I wish you all the best and happy shopping (without a doubt I will watch who has my banking details).

Congratulations again, and many heartfelt thanks

I was trying to contact the Think all for the disputed transaction. Came to know from your blog that the company is legally bound to flee from the market.

I have lodged an complaint with the credit card company. my woory is now do i ever get back my money ???

  • I've come late to all this and only found out when I was charged on my last credit card statement. I'm just wondering now that if it has closed down does that mean they can no longer access my credit card account?
It has been very frustrating trying to get a hold of this company and if I know they can no longer carry out their fraud I might just move on. Thanks for al the good work on this blog. Fred

  • "THANK YOU,THANK YOU,THANK YOU" to everyone who was responsible in accomplishing the closure of this
fraudulent "company?". I am so sorry for all who were scammed(me,too).Persistence pays off in the long run! My credit card company is refunding my payments and if any more charges show up from these people(?),they will take care of them also. Thank God for the honest people who have helped us all!

  • Thanks for your persistence in nailing this guy.

I, too, was taken in, after years of carefully guarding against being scammed.

Here's hoping that the temporary actions are made permanent. In the mean time, I will continue to monitor my credit card statement for illegal charges by ThinkAll, Manay, and Yuri Mintskovsky, all named in the FTC proceeding.

  • May 21, 2007: I am certainly glad this web site has been shut down. I disputed the charges on my Discover card. Last month (April 2007) Think All submitted a copy of the Terms and Conditions and Discover agreed with Think All and I was forced to pay. Even though they are out-of-business they are still collecting from those of us who were scammed. I also saw were 82 complaints have been submitted to the Dallas BBB.
