ASP.NET running on a Linux (Apache) server?

I guess it can be done using ASP.NET Mono. Who knew? Not sure why anyone would go through the trouble of writing an application / website in ASP.NET only to run it through a non-MS processor. Seems like you would quickly run into issues and just spend more time wondering if its the code or ASP.NET Mono causing the problem.

If you really want something that is cross-server compatible then go with PHP.
