A little worried
Everywhere I look on Blogger they are pushing me to upgrade to the new, Beta version. It offers more features and improvements over the version that I am currently using. I just don't know if I am ready to take the chance since they clearly state that good or bad, you could never go back. So, if at some point over this weekend you see the blog down you know why. Hopefully this process will go smoothly but with my luck I will be up late this weekend trying to recover.

I hate to sound slam stupid but is this all about migrating your blog to the new beta with FTP. You know us Tarheels are a little slow. Is the main purpose of this because no one would switch to the beta because they couldn't migrate their old blog to the new.

Yes. I want to migrate to the new beta with FTP support but don't like the idea of using a beta where things could go wrong. Then again there are some features that would be nice to have.
Migration has always been allowed, by invite sorta, for people who don't publish their blog through FTP. The FTP support is what was just added and allows more users to migrate.
