Keeping your email a secret using encryption

Lifehacker has a pretty good article on how to encrypt your email. I'm not sure I have ever sent an encrypted email. If the information is that sensitive that it needs encryption I never felt email was the way to go.

Just in case you use Gmail and want to encrypt than check out the Gmail Encrypt script from Greasemonkey (Firefox users only).
