Inside Google Spreadsheets

Inside Google Spreadsheets: "Google spreadsheets works quite smoothly. There were no noticeable lags in-between editing, and the multi-user editing is superb (and somewhat similar to Writely). The look and feel is that of Excel, but Google-branded and webified. There are less icons, less menu entries, and there is also only the most needed functionality."

  • Here's the part everyone needs to understand up front: the Bush administration has given itself full permission to use your data, downloads, and anything else they can find online against you. Using an online spreadsheet just puts your data out there for everyone you don't want to be scrutinizing even innocent data.

Make it downloadable like Picasa and then we'll talk.

  • This is something I have said in the past. I like to keep tighter control of my data.
