Google Earth 4 (beta)
Google Earth is one of those applications that I just enjoy playing with. From looking around the world exploring a bit to locating a place to eat or stay in a town I have never been. This is probably one of the coolest 'toys' that Google has ever released.(I'm still waiting for Google Universe)
Whats New in the version:
- Cleaner, simpler user interface
- Textured images for their 3D building feature
- Load locations through the KML file format
- Improved terrain

I have to agree. I can look up all the old places I used to live all over the Midwest and see them as slums or parking lots now. But it's pretty awesome to go see Paris, Belgium, and Tokyo all in a day.

I sometimes spend hours looking around the world. I can turn on the Discovery Channel and National Geographic blurbs and learn interesting things about places I would probably never get to see.
