AlltheWeb Livesearch Beta
AlltheWeb Livesearch Beta launches from Yahoo!. What makes it different? It makes suggestions as you type for a search term. Very similiar to Google's Suggest.
The results come from the same index as Yahoo!.
Cons:

The results come from the same index as Yahoo!.
Cons:
- Not needed for copy and paste searches
- Seems like 98% of a phrase has to be typed in for it to give you your search term (unless searching for Britney Spears).
- If you type fast the suggestions can't keep up
- Just feels weird using it
- Can offer alternate search terms as you type. Might be able to get you a more relative search phrase
- The Refine Search options could be a useful feature. Most users have no clue about the power of Google's advance searching (or any search engine for that matter) and an Ajax powered 'Refine Search' could make it easier for users (hear me Google)
- Looks kewl

98% of the query? hmm, that's a bit hard to get to unless you're typing 98 characters of a 100 character query, or are you rounding up, or maybe down? ;-) Or maybe you typed 49 characters of a 50 character query? Too bad 49 and 50 don't have another common divisor.
Funny, looks like a Googler :-)
