Microsoft has come up with a new font that has been designed with developers in mind. Consolas, the new font, looks great and I think will become my font of choice to develop in.

The Microsoft Consolas Font Family is a set of highly legible fonts designed for ClearType. It is intended for use in programming environments and other circumstances where a monospaced font is specified.

Then check out Cfont Pro to manage your new font and all your fonts.

(be warned that they are only allowing users of Visual Studio 2005 to use it but it may work for you – download and try it)
