I remember something similiar to that when AOL Explorer Beta came out. You could place your mouse on the back button and it would and will show thumbnails of the pages visited and that has been several months ago I think. All's fair in love and war and there is none lost between IE and FF for sure.

Hell, I do it. When I create new major version of my software I go and look at all my main competitors and see what they do better than me or do that I don't. Then I add my version into the application.
Fastest way to develop software - do what your competitors do, but do it better.
