EmEditor is doing it all right

By the title you could probably guess that I really like EmEditor.

EmEditor is by far the top text editor around. I have been using this text editor for many, many years and it has never let me down. With each version it keeps getting better.

I do website development and from early on I noticed I was much faster in a text editor. I do probably 98% of my work in EmEditor and the other 2% in Dreamweaver. I have worked with many text editors before stumbling across EmEditor. Once installed it has never been off my system.

Ok. So you're asking why am I posting all this? Because I just upgraded to v5.0 and I blog about anything I come across.

  • Very weird. I found a text editor yesterday that I fell for big time and was going to mention it to you. It has a ton of features and is very fast but I see you are hooked and I will check em out but I would like you to check this free one

  • Angel Writer is an RTF editor - which means it creates rtf files with formating, graphics, text, and such. I check it out and it has a long way to go to get to the level of EmEditor

  • I can see where you being a developer makes that your choice. I just wish I had some of that talent but I am a Baby Boomber and was over fifty before I ever hit the start button on one of these PC. I better hush before I have to get in the soc security line..lol

  • Veign, I LOVE EmEditor, but UltraEdit is the ultimate, baby! For quickness and customizability, EmEditor can't be beat, although I'll have to take your word on version 5.x — I'm broke and can't afford any upgrades for a while!

  • I have tried the rest but I keep coming back to EmEditor. There is something about it thats, for me, makes it better than all the rest.
