Thinkall.com Cancel Subscription page

First, read the story of Thinkall.com - in case you don't already know.

If you can even find the Cancel Subscription page you will find a pretty funny statement. The statement basically says we sent you 4 CD's, you keep two CD's for free, and the other CD's are $19.95 which is a huge savings on the software and do nothing as we will automatically charge your credit card.

WTF?

$19.95 per CD for software that can be downloaded for free? How is that any kind of savings? It just sounds like its taking advantage of people that don't know.

Just in case you want the software, I located it for you so you can download it now for free:
And if you can't download the software because of a slow internet connection or your on a pay-for-bandwidth connection then check out Snap Files (you can create a full CD of software with no catch)

Enjoy!

  • It's now up to $24.95 per CD...thanks for giving us the head's up. If it's too good to be true, it usually is.

  • With regard to the practices of ThinkAll.
Regrettably I have fallen into the trap of this deceitful company. I wish I had read your comments on them before. Now I should have to cancel my Amex card and create a new account so that they would not charge me again. Have they ever refunded any of their victims? Does any one know? They said that they credit my Amex but nothing has shown on my account as yet.
Would be grateful for any comments.
    Regards,
    Marios.

  • Number 1. This scam is a subscription and they will bang your account every month !

Number 2. Call THINKSCAM @ 800.462.8100 and cancel your account and get cancel code number. After you cancel your “account” that they scammed you on, then tell them you dispute all transactions.

Number 3. Call your Credit Card and dispute the amount. Make notes of all your actions, as your Credit Card will have to have a history of events. If you have to have credit card company call ThinkScam while you are on the phone. (ThinkScam even told my CC Company that I never called. Man they are dirty)

Number 4. Don’t take no for an answer !

  • I can't thank you enough for posting the blog on Thinkall. I was a few seconds away from giving them my credit card info. I knew this seemed too good to be true so decided to google their name and I'm so grateful I did. I found your blog and was literally "saved" from what sounds like a very orchestrated fraudulent and deceptive ploy. THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!!!

  • I am also a sorry sucker who fell for this scam!!! Pisses me off royally!!!
To think people actually go this low for a buck or two (or more).
Knowing I'm not the only sorry sucker does help when I feel so stupid... I did learn a valuable lesson here. DON'T TRUST ANYONE!
I just hope I can get it to stop before they take more money from me.

Thank you all very very much for your comments, I am so glad others have spoken up.

  • If this has happened to you, don't just cancel your card cause they may still be able to charge to it! I had used my bank card, so my account was at stake!
I was told to call the number on the back of my card that reports it as lost or stolen and to tell them that my card info had been compromised in an internet scam. I did this and they immediately cancelled my card blocking ANYONE from charging my account - even if they are authorized to do so - THEY CANNOT. I was told that this could cause problems with any automatic monthly payments (like bills - but I don't have any of those anyway.) They also told me to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, which I already had. I told them that I was also complaining to the Texas Attorney General, Greg Abbott, and they gave me a thumbs up on that one. Thinkall.com almost got me. I got the software and realized it was a scam. I tried the 800 number but every time I called, "the system was down" and they couldn't cancel my "membership" or give my any info to send the software back. (my 10 days was counting down quick!) I went to my bank and the teller called the 800 number. She couldn't get the info either, but at least I had a witness! Getting my bank involved was the best thing I could have done! I really hope this company gets what's coming to them. Last time I called the 800 number, they were unable to accept ANY calls - hhhmmmm. Gett
