Did you have a problem installing Windows Defender?
When trying to install Windows Defender did you encounter this error message: "'Error 1609. An error occurred while applying security settings. User is not a valid user or group.'"?

Personally I don't think it holds a candle to some of the other free prgrams that do the same and have yet to succeed with an update it is requesting. I try the custom method with no luck several times and still no luck. I finally uninstalled it and do think the other MS Beta prior to this one was a better product but that's just my thinking and my thinker is not brand new.

The wya I figure is Micrsoft would know the OS better than anyone and therefore be able to protect it.
Are you saying updated are not being applied?
