By now you have heard of Google Pack and might have heard of Lifehacker Pack but what about Portable Apps Suite?

What is it and what makes it different? Well, its a suite of software that can run directly from your thumbdrive (USB memory stick) with no installation on the host system. Pretty cool and it will al fit on a 256M drive.

Software in the Suite:
Portable Firefox (web browser), Portable Thunderbird (email client), Portable OpenOffice.org (office suite), Portable AbiWord (word processor), Portable NVU (web editor), Portable Sunbird (calendar & task list), Portable FileZilla (FTP client), Portable Gaim (instant messenger)
