Search two at once
Twingine allows you to search Google and Yahoo at the same time.
The way results are displayed needs some work but it has possibilites.
What would be cool is to mix the two results into a single resultant set that identifies if it is a Google or Yahoo result. You would have to come up with a way to give more weight to one result over another to know how to re-order the results...

I've thought a bit about this. The major problem is that I would have to use Google's and Yahoo's search APIs for this, and abiding by their maximum amount of queries per day and terms of use.
Today I simply use a frameset to display the Yahoo! and Google results directly, with minimum impact on my server and bandwidth.

I did some research on it for a desktop application I was going to write and noticed the max queries.
Take a look at http://www.myriadsearch.com/ as this interface is cleaner than Twingines (new blog post on this one)
Good luck and you have a great domain name as a base for what could be an amazing tool...
